The design team drew inspiration from the smooth and elegant movements of a waltz. The result is a control panel with smooth lines, real-time feedback, and a rich array of color options. But the KNX Waltz Touch Pad is more than just a pretty face. It's a powerful tool that puts control in the hands of the user.

What sets the KNX Waltz Touch Pad apart from other smart home control panels is its unique properties. It features integrated screen and buttons, and it's the first to use the G-link configuration mode in KNX. Users can customize the functions and colors of the buttons, making the panel adaptable to different architectural styles. The independent metal bar design at the bottom, which houses the electronic components, makes the panel thinner and enhances brand recognition.

The design team used 6063 aviation aluminum in the construction of the panel. It also features an anti-fingerprint coating, 180# sand blasting, and anodization. The panel is customizable in terms of color and laser icons. The user interface can be linked with the buttons to display dynamic feedback, and users can quickly customize the functions of the user interface. There are multiple style options for personalized selection.

The design team faced several challenges during the creation of the KNX Waltz Touch Pad. They had to find a way to make the panel thin enough while still housing all the necessary components. They also had to ensure that the user interface was adaptable. They overcame these challenges by putting the electronic components into the independent metal bar at the bottom of the main body and by developing internal programs and UI algorithms.

The KNX Waltz Touch Pad was completed in September 2021 in Guangzhou. It's a testament to the design team's commitment to innovation and user experience. The design was awarded Silver in A' Building Materials and Construction Components Design Award in 2022, a testament to its outstanding design and innovation.
